Terms and Conditions

Welcome to SmartType Keyboard. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the SmartType Keyboard mobile application ("App") and related services ("Services") provided by SmartType ("we," "us," or "our").

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

SmartType Keyboard is an AI-powered keyboard application for Android devices that provides the following features:

• •AI-powered grammar correction and text enhancement
• •Real-time translation in multiple languages
• •Smart reply generation for messaging apps
• •Custom prompts and text transformations
• •Intelligent word predictions and learning
• •Clipboard history management
• •Customizable themes and appearance

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Services at any time without prior notice.

To access certain features of the App, you may be required to create an account. You are responsible for:

• •Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• •All activities that occur under your account
• •Providing accurate and complete information when creating an account
• •Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent's or guardian's permission to use the App.

SmartType Keyboard offers both free and premium subscription plans:

• •Free Plan: Includes 200 AI words per month with access to basic features
• •Premium Plan: Unlimited AI words with access to all features, available as monthly ($1.90/month) or yearly ($19.50/year) subscriptions

Billing: Premium subscriptions are billed in advance through our payment processor (Paddle). Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through the App settings or by contacting support. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.

Refunds: Refund requests are handled on a case-by-case basis in accordance with applicable laws and our refund policy.

The App, including its design, features, functionality, and content, is owned by SmartType and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not:

• •Copy, modify, or create derivative works of the App
• •Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• •Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices
• •Use the App for any commercial purpose without our written permission

The App processes text input to provide AI-powered features. We respect your privacy and handle your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

You retain ownership of any text you input into the App. By using the App, you grant us a limited license to process your text input solely for the purpose of providing the Services.

We do not store your text input beyond what is necessary to provide the Services, and we do not use your content to train AI models without your explicit consent.

You agree not to use the App to:

• •Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• •Infringe upon the rights of others
• •Transmit harmful, offensive, or illegal content
• •Interfere with or disrupt the Services
• •Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• •Use automated systems to access the Services without permission
• •Impersonate any person or entity

Violation of these prohibitions may result in immediate termination of your access to the App.

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE APP.

Our total liability for any claims arising from your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Services in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause or notice, for any reason, including but not limited to:

• •Violation of these Terms
• •Fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity
• •Extended periods of inactivity
• •At our sole discretion

Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease. You may terminate your account at any time by deleting the App or contacting support.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any material changes by:

• •Posting the updated Terms in the App
• •Updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page
• •Sending you an email notification (if you have provided an email address)

Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the modified Terms. If you do not agree to the modified Terms, you must stop using the App.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of the applicable jurisdiction.
